"50,000 hectares of coastal wilderness" Australia.com
Ok, that sounds pretty sweet to us, Wilson's Promontory or 'The Prom' to locals, is a national park located on the southernmost point of mainland Australia.
At a distance of about 160 km (100 miles) from Melbourne; if you're there checking out that great city, you could easily do a weekend trip here, which would make for a nice excursion.
If you have more time, then you could plot out a few days, maybe even a week of walks, and why wouldn't you when they have fun names like 'Lilly Pilly Gully Circuit'. Go on trails through the rugged scenery, include some swimming in the beaches & bays, snorkeling in the pristine waters and after all that; we'd encourage you to take a boat/jet ski trip out to Cleft Island (see image above).
*Sidenote: There is a great Reddit thread (link below) about which super-villain probably has a secret base here, but jokes aside it is a pretty cool island to take a peek at.
Take an empty memory card for the camera so you can capture it all. [Review by nikodonnell]
