Jasper National Park (Canada)

Jasper National Park Travel Guide and Trip Resources

Serenity: wild rivers, forests, bears and wolves

Jasper National Park is located in the Canadian province of Alberta and is the largest national park in the Canadian Rockies. To the south lies Banff National Park. Jasper is vast and empty (nearly 11,000 square kilometers or 4,200 square miles) and home to some of the most absolutely stunning scenery in the world. This includes lakes, glaciers, wild rivers, forests, hot springs, waterfalls and mountains. There is no shortage of wildlife either as amongst many others the grizzly and black bears, coyotes and grey wolves roam the area.

A good place to start exploring from would be Jasper, located at the heart of the park and at about a 4-5 hour drive from Edmonton. [Review by travelindicator]
