An intimate oceanside town

Camden is a small town in the US state of Maine
Very scenic with rolling hills and oceanside setting

Camden is a small town of just under 5,000 people in the US State of Maine. That may make it sound insignificant, yet it is one of the most touristy towns in the state and the wealthy flock here from all around to snatch up summer homes. The reason for that is that you would probably be hard pressed to find a more scenic town in all of New England.

As if it were a movie set (think Dawson's Creek), Camden has it all: leafy neighbourhoods with big mansions, a picturesque harbor, and of course the sprawling hills of Camden Hills State Park in the background running down towards the ocean. Camden has an intimate atmosphere, with good seafood restaurants at the waterfront and a charming downtown area with boutique shops and galleries. [Review by travelindicator]
