Bad Radkersburg is a small Austrian town located at the Austro-Slovenian border - separated by the Mur river - near Maribor in Slovenia and Graz in Austria. It is famous for its thermal spas, but the town of just over 1300 people also has an authentic Old Town that is worth exploring. In the streets surrounding the market square you will find small and charming shops and café's where you can sit down for a glass of local wine.
Although the town itself is situated in flat terrain - great for leisurely biking and walking - a few kilometers away from the town things become more hilly. This area is mostly covered in vineyards and is great for those who want a bit more of a challenge when working out. Or you could just opt for a wine-tasting at one of the many vineyards..
